Bulk Billing Doctor Servicing Pacific Pines
What is bulk billing?
Bulk billing, Veterans Affairs Card and Medicare are Government initiatives that pay doctors 85% to 100% of your medical bill for eligible medical services. This helps doctors by simplifying billing and helps make medical services more accessible to everyone.
In other words, your doctor charges Medicare directly for your visit to the doctor. In most cases, this means by visiting a bulk billing doctor, you could have the majority or full cost of the visit paid for by Medicare.
Medicare usually does not cover the following:
- ambulance services
- most dental services
- glasses, contact lenses and hearing aids
- cosmetic surgery.
